Abstract:
This article reviews the current state of tourism development in rural areas on the example of Kirovograd region. New forms of management and accommodation facilities providing rural green tourism services are explored. Their number has been established in the regions of the Kirovograd region. The specialization of these objects and their dependence on localization are analyzed. The localization of objects most often determines their specialization. The main specialization of these objects is the provision of services that are closely linked to the use of natural resources. Almost all firms of rural green tourism are located near the water arteries and forests. They provide excursions to museums, objects of architecture and nature. And they also arrange cultural and artistic events.

The study indicates a list of accommodation facilities providing rural green tourism services in the Kirovograd region by district, their number and activities. It was found accommodation area-based distribution and proportion of accommodation by districts. According to the results of the analysis of indicators of the number of objects of rural green tourism, it was concluded that the largest number of farmsteads of rural green tourism in the region was recorded in the Alexandria district. Evaluation of industry in these same figures showed that there are four groups of districts in the Kirovograd region.

According to the results of the study, perspective directions of development of rural green tourism in the Kirovograd region were identified. The analysis of the activity of the establishments of placement of green tourism in the region showed that they are oriented to meet the needs of consumers for rest, recreation, rehabilitation, cultural and aesthetic development. It was found that owners of agro-tourism firms located near environmental protection territories support ecological requirements among tourists. In the countryside, many additional services are provided to the visitors, including ecotourism programs: horse riding and cycling walk in the national and landscape parks. The rural house can be used as a basis for accommodation and meals of eco-tourists.
