TRADE-ENTERTAINMENT CENTERS IN UKRAINE: HUMAN-GEOGRAPHICAL RESEARCH ASPECTS

Abstract:

Spatial-time analysis of the trade-entertainment centers functioning in Kyiv is carried out. Contemporary features, belts and sectors of the trade-entertainment centers in Kyiv are revealed. Location of the trade-entertainment centers in Ukrainian cities is analyzed, and regional peculiarities of location are determined. Based on correlation analysis, the main factors of trade-entertainment centers’ location in Ukrainian cities are defined. The peculiarities of perception of trade-entertainment centers as public spaces are revealed. Historical features and modern directions of the malls development in Kyiv are characterized.
